Who is this for?

Open to all movement professionals. This would include Somatic movement teachers, Pilates and Yoga teachers, rehabilitation and chronic pain therapists and bodyworkers. Or anyone interested in learning how to revitalise fascia to relieve pain and find the joy in movement. The way nature intended.

In a nutshell

You learn how to....

  • Reconnect

Reconnect with nature's design and experience alignment free, shape changing, effortless movements. With the freedom to adjust and find what feels good.

  • Revitalise

Revitalise fascia from the inside out, paying particular attention to how the body takes care of dense connective tissue like the Thoracolumbar fascia.

  • Regulate

Regulate and nurture the nervous system to ease chronic pain. With Pandiculation and other soothing, nourishing self- restorative movements like rocking to release.

What will you find?

As you begin to explore this somatic practise, this is what you will find:

  • How soothing it is to revitalise fascia with pandiculation, and other emerging blueprints.

  • How the body shape changes from within

  • How a fitness or yoga stretch feels different to pandiculation

  • There is no need for props for myofascial release

  • Anyone can move this way. Even on their own

  • How suppleness improves with effortless effort

  • Even just 10 minutes a day can reshape fascia.

  • A felt sense of integrity of the psoas and diaphragm

  • A felt sense of wholeness

  • How reshaping the body can shift the mind.

Course format

Virtual learning both recorded and live.

If you are looking for a course based on quantity of information or a manual showing you how to teach a bunch of exercises then this is not for you. Intuitive learning lies at the heart of this course. It’s not the hours that matter but the AHA moments that emerge through embodied learning. Self-practice and commitment are essential. The sessions are in a bite size format making it easy for you to integrate. Intuitive practice cannot be integrated with other movement practices because of the nature in which it emerges.

FAQ

Yes you can. Everything will be recorded. Even if you miss a couple of live Q and A sessions.

  • Who would benefit from this?

Anyone who wants to relieve chronic pain or improve mobility and suppleness.

  • Can I integrate this practice with Yoga or Pilates?

It's best to explore this way of movement on its own. To help you revitalise fascia and help you connect with the sensory wisdom of nature's design. Once you move this way, it will change your relationship with movement.

  • Can I work with trauma with this therapy

This course does not qualify you as a SomaSensing trauma-informed therapist. There is an additional certification for that. If however you have taken a course in trauma and are already working as a trauma informed therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist then you can incorporate this into your practice.
